Poor sound quality, lots of noise

I had an older 3.5 to 1/4 from this company that had great sound quality/ no noise. I just got this new cable to replace it and is is very noisy no mater how I mess with the levels on my devices/instruments/mixer. The bass frequencies are very noisy and sound blown out. Signal to noise ratio is awful. Im honestly extremely disappointed with this cable the sound quality is not even passably good.

Sound Quality

At first, it seemed like this was just what I needed to play music through my mixer board to my PA system. It worked fine but after I turned my volume up the music started to sound fuzzy and had cracks in it. I thought it was my speakers at first and I thought I blew them. I figured out that my speakers were not blown and that it was this cord that could not handle loud music and started making those bad noises. I solved the problems by buying a different adapter and the new one worked like a charm. (Crisp and clear audio at loud volume) This product needs some work!
